Exploring deeper and deeper avenues as to what the problem is. Tags: Action Learning Coach, WIAL Action Learning Trackback from your site. I would ask, ” What are we doing well?” to invite self reflection and probe for identification of specific behaviors if necessary by asking,” Can you give an example of what we have done well? Secondly in this scenario it sounds as if the team has not yet agreed upon the problem which is critical for moving forward in the process. I would go through the process of asking each person to write their understanding of the problem, ask them to read and ask each person if they were in agreement. I’d take note of the great situation and reinforce it during the next check in. Happy Coaching Bea Reply Leonor Deborah G. What learnings can they bring back to their workplace or at home? I would comment about how deeply they’ve explored the issue and ask them what they think allowed this to happen for them? I notify them that coach will intervene the discuss for learning approach. I remind them that the learning opportunity is important the same as problem solving through the process of Action Learning. and I would ask them what we learn in the discussion. A double-loop question could support the team in thinking about how they could repeat this. “Team, you may have noticed everyone feels that the team is working well today. What would you repeat in subsequent team sessions in order to ensure this level of energy?” Reply Leave a comment You must be logged in to post a comment.
