For over 20 years Mary served as an organizational change catalyst, trainer, coach and strategic leader in the Federal government. She has a proven track record of leading by example, developing and building high performing teams and enabling change among internal and external stakeholders to actualize large agency-wide strategic initiatives and visions. She possesses a unique mix of skills and education required to lead and develop others in innovative human resource development practices, succession planning organizational change and learning through teamwork and high performance. She is a transformational leader with a strong desire to make a difference and holds the utmost respect for teams, learning, diversity of thought, collaboration, creativity and accountability. Mary formulated her leadership practices based on prior research including action learning, organizational learning, leadership, teams and values. Dissertation: Values and Cohesiveness: A Case Study of a Federal Team. Most recently, she co-authored a professional journal article with Drs. Michael Marquardt and Bea Carson, Action Learning and Leadership Development published by Sage in Advances in Developing Human Resources (2016). Mary has a Doctor of Education in Human and Organizational Learning, The George Washington University, and is a World Institute for Action Learning (WIAL) certified Senior Action Learning Coach (SALC). Mary also serves on the WIAL Board of Directors and is the President of MVP Consultants.
