Living in Singapore, Isa was introduced to Action Learning in 2009 and became a Senior Action Learning Coach (SALC), in 2014. Since then, he has set up and is supporting the WIAL affiliates in Cambodia, Indonesia and Myanmar whilst serving as a Director with WIAL Malaysia. His involvements include the certification programs and the Community of Practice events in these countries. His belief and passion in developing people has brought him to deliver Action Learning training and coaching with organizations in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, China, Vietnam, Malaysia the Philippines, as well as public workshops, both in English, Malay and Bahasa Indonesia. In addition to his work with WIAL, Isa is Managing Director of Compas Management Consulting, an Approved Training Organisation with the Singapore government with offices in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia that focuses on developing leaders for greater business and social impact. A certified coach, facilitator, and consultant, Isa’s work helps companies develop leaders through a developmental program where the journey of every leader is measured and tracked during their period of development. He is currently serving as the Vice President of the International Association of Facilitators, Singapore Chapter. Isa has completed an executive coaching certification with the NeuroLeadership Institute and is pursuing his PCC with the International Coach Federation. He is a Certified Professional Facilitator with International Association of Facilitators and a Performance Management Consultant with Institute of Management Consulting. He also an Associate Adult Educator with the Singapore University for Social Studies. He is certified and experienced in numerous methods and tools that support development, including Harrison Assessments, Enneagram, DISC, ABA Assessment, NLP, TetraMap and MBTI.  Isa has a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Western Australia. Before forming Compas Management Consulting in 2005, Isa served in the Singapore Armed Forces as a commissioned officer for 22 years with responsibilities of operations and training being his primary roles. During this period he served as the Head of Training and Development  of a leadership school for officers and a overseas Training Base and as the Aid De Camp to the President of Singapore. Isa’s passion and belief in the potential of the young keeps him involved in the world of his 2 boys and 3 girls. Through them, he stays connected to current realities across generations.
