Senior Action Learning Coach (SALC)

Who

CALCs (or PALCs) who have at least 100 hours of WIAL coaching experience and have been cleared to teach all WIAL certification programs.

Why

SALCs will coach Action Learning teams, and have a strong desire to teach others to be Action Learning Coaches. SALCs will frequently develop an affiliate or a chapter to an affiliate in a given region. A PALC who does not have to complete a second project to progress to SALC.

Summary of SALC Requirements

Participate in Foundations
Participate in CALC1 & CALC2
1 long term project. Minimum 4 sessions over several weeks.
Minimum 100 hours experience (50 coaching)
Lead Leading with Questions OR Introduction to AL
Lead Foundations
Lead CALC1 & CALC2
Lead Intensive CALC
Additional Requirements
SALC Application

Summary of Annual Requirements to Maintain SALC Level

Submit proof of Action Learning Hours
Participate in three WIAL activities
Lead at least 1 Foundations or CALC or Intensive
Mentor two qualified CALCs or certify one CALC candidate successfully
Period: 2 year
Review certification papers
Renewal through an online form
