Kathryn is Chief People Officer at Satellite Applications Catapult, working with the leadership of the organization to ‘innovate for a better world empowered by satellites’. Last 2019, Satellite Applications Catapult won WIAL’s ‘Best Application Award’ for its use of Action Learning for Leadership Development, Technical Problem Solving, and Executive Strategic Business Challenges. In her role Kathryn works with the Executive Management Team to scale and grow the business, looking at the future of work, development, culture, diversity, and inclusion. Kathryn is also the founder of DBKT Coaching who works with Leaders and Teams to thrive in the changing world of work, so organizations can achieve their purpose, and by doing so deliver great results.
Kathryn has over 15 years experience working in HR and Learning & Development. Kathryn has worked in a range of industry sectors including Digital Technology, Health & Social Care, Logistics, Automotive, Food Manufacturing and Local Authority. Working at a senior level as a Human Resources Professional Kathryn has developed expertise in TUPE, Change Management, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Culture, Team and Leadership Development.
Kathryn is CIPD qualified with a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management, is a qualified Action Learning Coach (CALC) and is currently studying for an MA in Coaching and Mentoring. Kathryn is a member of the FSG committee and is a passionate champion and advocate for Action Learning.
In her spare time, Kathryn spends with family and is also an avid reader.
