I would lean in the group en ask the following question: I’ve obeserved that the focus from the group is only on one idea. Has anyone else observed this?

I might ask, “How are we doing at making sure everyone’s ideas are considered?”

i would say that i observe that the group is only focusing one item, has anyone else noticed this?
then as the group what is the impact on the group and the output of the group as a result, followed by myself asking the group to agree on and set a norm of focusing on all the relevant factors as we proceed with our session.

After asking the standard 3 questions (How are we doing as a team on a scale of 1 – 10? What are we doing well? What can we do better?)
How are we doing exploring all the alternatives we surfaced?
Why is it important the we evaluate all alternatives?
How can we make sure we evaluate all alternatives?

If it didn’t surface in a standard intervention (what are we doing well, what could we do better), I’d ask something like, “How are we doing at exploring all of our options?” or “How are we doing at staying open to multiple possibilities?”
Then: “What’s the impact of staying open to/exploring all of our options?” “How will we insure that we are giving all of our options our full consideration?”

Being as a coach, I will ask one of the following questions:
1. where are now working as a team scaling from one to ten?
2. Hi Team, at the end of session I will ask you how you demonstrate you leadership competency? Who has the next question?
3. Hi team, what is the situation, what will be impact to the team, and how should we go then?
