As an action learning coach, I will do the following:

    1. Acknowledge the team for their observation and tell the team that for me this signifies that they are ready for a higher level of awareness.

    2. Ask the team how will this impact the organization if members are engaged and are conscious in supporting each other’s learning opportunities

    3. Ask the team how will they bring this new learning or reflections to their respective organization.

As AL coach, I would balance both ” learning and action” therefore, I would do the following.

    1. I would acknowledge the team the learning opportunities that they mentioned.

    2. I would ask the question
    ” What helped us learn?

    3. Ask them based on the learning, what is the next action they want to do after the session.
” How do you intent to apply the new learning in your work?”
” How can we apply these learning to other parts of the organization or to our life?”

As other have said – I would move forward to asking how they can apply what they’ve learned.

since the team has identified all the learning opportunities, I then ask them how they could apply those learning to their daily works, to the organization or daily live.

If the in reflection the team has identified all the area I noted as the learnings opportunities, what went well and what can be don’t better, then I will acknowledge the team for their diligence and ask: How can we use these findings to improve the organisation? In what ways can we apply these learnings to our personal development?

I would acknowledge the adeptness of the group for understanding the learning opportunities and then ask the members to take that learning a step farther. “Could you provide a specific example of how you may apply that learning in your organization within the next week?”
