If this only happens to PP, I would intervene after his/her statement/answer ends, and depending on the situation, I would consider two approaches.

For PPs who are not familiar with AL, I might ask a question, such as “Who do you think is the main audience for this statement/answer?”

On the other hand, for members who have already participated and understand AL, I can directly remind them. I would say: “Please remember to maintain eye contact with your team members when speaking.”

To reinforce the focus on the group, I might ask the team to respond to the problem presenter’s statement with a question or observation. For example, “What questions does the group have about this challenge?” This encourages participants to take an active role in the conversation and move the focus away from me.

I will smile, lean back, use hand gesture to lead her to turn to the team, or tell PP to talk to the team. If PP still did not get it, after PP is finished the problem presentation I will ask the team if they have any question and make sure that everyone engages with the problem. Lastly, if the team tends to lack of engagement, I might ask any team member to summarize their understanding about the problem.
