Scenario: Eye lock(2024)

As an action learning coach, how would you handle the following situation: The problem presenter locks eyes with you when presenting the problem and appears to be just talking to you.

    If this only happens to PP, I would intervene after his/her statement/answer ends, and depending on the situation, I would consider two approaches.

    For PPs who are not familiar with AL, I might ask a question, such as “Who do you think is the main audience for this statement/answer?”

    On the other hand, for members who have already participated and understand AL, I can directly remind them. I would say: “Please remember to maintain eye contact with your team members when speaking.”
