Firstly, I would express recognition for their capacity to spot so many learning opportunities. I might then deepen the inquiry by asking “What is the impact of noticing learning opportunities that present themselves routinely in our organisations (life etc.) ?”

I would affirm the team for their careful observations and ask:
How were you helped by your observations about what went well and what could be better?
What made it possible for you to notice these learning opportunites today?
What would you do to help your own teams to do likewise?
    What possibilities would it create?

I would comment very positively on the group’s ability to notice and share both what went well and what could have been even better. I would ask them what skills they had used to analyse group process so well and how they could continue to develop those skills. I would also ask them what the impact was of their observations on the future performance of the group.

As the group had noted some areas in which the group could have worked better, I would also ask how they thought they could elevate their performance in future.

First of all I would control myself not to comment that those are exactly the points that I’ve noticed on the group. Then, after a deep breath, I would ask some questions like: Group, I observed that the learning opportunities were quite accurate about the behavior of the team members. Does any one else observed it? What is the impact on the group when everybody is listening / exercising presence/ paying attention to others team members?

I will continue to ask to all : “What inspiration these learning points bring us.? What is the value to oneself and to the organization?”

I would acknowledge the team’s efforts in observation and reflection and I will then ask to all “how they are going to apply the learnings in the remaining AL session or future AL sessions and their day to day work

I would ask for each named learning item what makes it well and what can improve.
