Scenario: Learnings

As an action learning coach, how would you handle the following situation: During the learning checkin the team has identified all of the learning opportunities you had noted both in terms of what went well and what could be better.

    Firstly, I would express recognition for their capacity to spot so many learning opportunities. I might then deepen the inquiry by asking “What is the impact of noticing learning opportunities that present themselves routinely in our organisations (life etc.) ?”

    I would affirm the team for their careful observations and ask:
    How were you helped by your observations about what went well and what could be better?
    What made it possible for you to notice these learning opportunites today?
    What would you do to help your own teams to do likewise?
    What possibilities would it create?
