I would intervene by asking the group: What is the agreement we made about the direction of the questions? When they are directed to the presenter of the problem, can we make it clear and give them the space to answer? At the end I would bring this point up as an observation and learning.

I will intervene:
1. Team! Right now ,what are asking question and answering in our team like ?
2. What will happen If a person should answer this question don’t have the
opportunity to do it
3. What will we decide to do in this situation?

2. What good things will happen If PP answer these questions that belong to her ?
3. What will we decide to do ?

Apparently, it would not benefit for the team and PP if another team member is too eager to answer all questions on behalf of PP.
As an ALC, I would intervene the group by asking:
– Hi team, do you remember 2 ground rules that I have mentioned earlier in the beginning, and what are they?
– How would you want to change the way our team work together to create results for our session both action for PP and learning for whole team?

I Would intervene by asking:
– I have observed a team member insists on answering questions that being directed to the Problem Presenter. What is the impact of this on the team?
– How do we want to handle it?

I would intervene by “What” “So What” and “Now What”, by asking:
I’ve observed a team member insists on answering questions that are being directed to the Problem Presenter. Has anyone else observed this?
What is the impact of this on the team? ( I would let the team think about both positive and negative side.)
How do we want to handle it? (How may we invite other team members to input on the question to PP?)
To emphasize the learning for the team, I would ask one more follow up question:
What is the learning we learned in this case, which we may use in the future of our team communication?

As coach, I will intervene as following;
Team, do you observe that the recent question had belong to PP?
2. What will be the impact if other team member rather than PP insist on answering the question?
3. What do we decide to do on this situation?
