In this case, as this is a very macro and broad problem, I would try to suggest “peeling” possible solutions actions. If it was still too generic, we could check if there would be another session to continue the discussion of the case. I would also ask each member of the group how this problem affects you, this reflection can incite a beautiful reflection of all

In Action Learning, double-loop and triple-loop learning can help creating deep levels of learning. In the session, follow-up questions e.g. “why?” or “how?” can elevate the deep learning.

I will intervene and tell the team that the problem presented is perhaps beyond the scope of the team members. I will ask them if they want to continue to work on the problem. In case they want to, then I will ask them to work around the scope that allows them to identify the action items that may allow them to address the problem in their own authority.
